Allie said, "Mommy, I want to draw a star. Can you tell me the letters?" So, I did. And as I did, she wrote. And into her personal history, she wrote her first word.
Then we drew some stars... and for the record, it is really hard to teach a 3 year old how to draw a star (all those crossing lines and whatnot!)
