We have just this very weekend created heaven on the living room ceiling... known to most other people as a ceiling fan. AND... wait for it... finally replaced the UGLY ugly UGLY glass and brass pendant lighting in our "entryway".
The light in our living room is now simply amazing... I can see ALL the cobwebs and dust bunnies rather than reluctantly acknowledging their presence by feel alone.
In other news, the lotus light that we strung up in Allie's room flickered and died tonight causing our child to dissolve in hysterics. Wow. Didn't think that would cause such a reaction. She's still asleep up in our bed as she was unable to recover her previous confidence in illumination.
