So far today Allison and I have: colored in the dinosaur coloring book from Rocco's birthday party, played with moon sand (and vacuumed up said moon sand from every corner of my kitchen!), baked cookies from a store bought cookie mix, played with my entire stamp collection (didn't know I had so many alphabet stamps!), spent 30 minutes playing in the water at the kitchen sink trying to get the "washable" stamp ink off her upper body and checking out which of her little people toys float (all of the people but not their camper), quietly read the Fisher Price catalog that mysteriously made its way onto my dining room table and now A. is playing with a magnetic doll that she received from Pam at Christmas. Maybe its the snow, but A. seems especially busy today.
*** as a side note: Henri has eaten one green crayon and a bunch of moon sand that A. flinged about the room, attempted to steal a cookie off the plate on the counter, carried a "Q" stamp around getting it all soggy, has a wet head from A's sink time and smells much like... well, a wet dog, and is now attempting to climb onto the couch while she thinks I'm not paying attention. And it seems that H. is especially troublesome today!***
